GIRL!
You were all right... well most of you. Gotta love that 50/50 chance!
Baby Girl Lew has all her fingers, toes, major organs and body parts!
We hope to post the ultrasound pictures soon but our internet is down and we don't always have time (or money) to go out some where with wifi (and I forgot to upload them tonight).
So for now you will have to be content with a new belly picture and Baby Lew's first dress... picked out by mom and dad (aka Drew and me).
19 weeks!

Tejas!
Well, tomorrow morning I'm leaving on a jet plane to go see these people....
These are actually some of my favorite people in the whole wide world. Throw in a really hip Nana and it's going to be a fantastic trip! My little baby sis is graduating college and I am so glad that I get to be there! I am also super excited about visiting my crazy alma mater for the first time since graduation.
I'll also get to see some life long friends and their new babies and I'm going for a second round of acupuncture for my sinuses. So far my sinuses have behaved themselves but it wouldn't hurt to give them a little workout before the big allergy season hits in the summer with ragweed and such.
Some other things I'm looking forward to.... La Madeleine (fat free caesar, pasta salad and strawberries... mmm), freebirds, whataburger and other such things.... oh and I definitely don't mind my parents addiction to Starbucks and Sonic. I guess I'll let them drag me along! =)
It will also be fun to get to see the baby and her fiance together for the first time (for me) since they got engaged! Maybe we'll find me a bridesmaid dress somewhere in there as well. (8wks post pregnancy is going to involve some creativity and top support! hahaha)
If I can remember to take the camera I'm hoping to get some shots of the engaged love-birds, my super skinny parents and of me at 18wks! We find out a week from tomorrow what we are having!!!
All Hail the Mighty State!!! (hehe)

The Island...
So, we watch Lost. Drew prefers Heroes but we still keep up to date on Lost via the internet. It is crazy.
BUT... this post is not at all about Lost...sorry!!!
We just got an island of our very own... in the kitchen! That's right all of my hubby's promises were fulfilled Wednesday when he drove me 2 hours to IKEA in the rain and helped me to pick out the most fantastic island. He then drove me all the way back and came home and set it up in a jiff! I LOVE IT! I can't believe we ever had a kitchen with out it... it fits so perfectly and is so convenient.
So, here are the pictures... enjoy
Next weekend.... the STAIRS (hear the daunting music playing in the background)!
This hubby of mine is amazing!
In other news... Texas people always say they have the craziest weather... now I hear Kentucky people say THEY have the craziest weather. I am here to testify that weather is just crazy.... no matter where you are.
I woke up to sunny clear skies, then it stormed with lightening, thunder and flood-like rains alllll afternoon and here I sit looking at a sunny cloudless sky again... crazy.
Oh and ps. I am DONE with school, turned in my last final and paper of the semester today!
